Christian J. Spengler is a student assistant and M.Sc. student in the research group. He is studying in the human-computer interaction master's program.
Christian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from the Philipps University of Marburg and brings a strong foundation in qualitative social research to the research project.
While not directly involved in previous research projects, Christian gained valuable experience as a software tester for qualitative research software at dr. dresing & pehl GmbH (f4transkript and f4analyse). Additionally, during his time at Philipps University of Marburg, he served as a tutor for qualitative and quantitative research methods, showcasing his commitment to research and education.
Christian's diverse background extends beyond academia, having spent several years abroad, including two years in Australia working in different environments, followed by extensive travel and volunteering in Southeast Asia for over 2.5 years. These experiences have enriched his perspective and adaptability.
Currently, in the early stages of the HCI program, he is exploring various avenues of interest within the field, including socio-psychological aspects of human behavior and interactions, socioinformatics, and accessibility. His goal within the research project is to contribute methodological expertise and collaborate with experienced researchers and designers, fostering a dynamic and innovative research environment.
